South India Details Tour Itinerary

Day 01 – Kolkata to Chennai Transfer :

• Arrival at Chennai airport you will meet the representative of Heritage India Representative.
• You will be escorted to your pre-booked hotel.
• Evening free time for leisure.
• Overnight at Chennai.

Day 02 – Transfer from Chennai to Tirupati:

• Enjoy your morning breakfast in the hotel and then you will leave for Tirupati.
• On arrival you will make a check-in into your hotel.
• Take rest for some time and then you will off to Tirupati Darshan.
• After that you will take a trip to Tirupati temple Darshan. This temple is nestled in Tirumala hills. It is believed that every day, around 1 lakh people visit this temple.
• Other temples located near Tirupati Balaji is Sri padmavathi Devi Temple, Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple and the divine Govindaraja Swamy temple.
• After full day of sightseeing you will return to your hotel and make an overnight stay.

• Overnight at Tirupati.

Day 03 – Transfer from Tirupati to Chennai :

• Enjoy your morning breakfast in the hotel and then you will leave for Chennai.
• On arrival you will make a check-in into your hotel.
• Evening free time for personal activates.
• Overnight at Chennai.

Day 04 – Transfer from Chennai to Mahabalipuram :

• After breakfast, go for the sightseeing of Chennai like British-built Old Government House, Basilica of San Thome, the lighthouse and Marina Beach.
• Later take a drive to the town of Temples, sea and sand, Mahabalipuram.
• You will be accommodated to a pre booked hotel after reaching Mahabalipuram.
• Overnight at Mahabalipuram.

Day 05 – Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram :

• After breakfast, you will explore the city of Mahabalipuram covering Krishna Mandapam and Arjuna’s Penance, the Shore Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Mahishasura Mardini Cave etc.
• Later Visit to Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambaranathar, Kamakshi Amman Temple (Parabrahma Rupini) and Silk Sari Weaving Center at Kanchipuram.
• Overnight at Mahabalipuram.

Day 06 – Transfer from Mahabalipuram to Tanjore :

• After breakfast in the early morning visit Chola Temple and Brihadeeswarar Temple.
• After visit transfer to Tanjore.
• Check-in to a hotel.
• Overnight at Tanjore.

Day 07 – Transfer from Tanjore to Madurai :

• After breakfast leave for Madurai. Enroute take a visit to Trichy covering Rockfort and Srirangam Temple.
• Check into a hotel after arrival. After refreshment visit the magnificent Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple.
• Evening free time for personal activates.
• Overnight at Madurai.

Day 08 – Madurai Sightseeing :

• After breakfast half Day tour to Meenakshi Amman Temple and historical monument Tirumalai Palace will be on the cards for you.
• Back to Hotel for relex. In the evening we will take you to Meenakshi Temple once again to watch the night ceremony.
• Overnight at Madurai.

Day 09 – Transfer from Madurai to Rameshwaram :

• After breakfast checkout from the hotel and head towards Rameshwaram.
• On arrival, you are escorted to a pre-booked hotel for rest and refreshment.
• We then visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama. This is one of the seven places in India where pilgrims pray for salvation.
• place is unique with 22 holy springs and the longest corridor in India.
• Our next visit is to the five faced Hanuman Temple. The temple also has a floating stone outside the temple exhibiting the famous stories from the Great Indian spic, Ramayana.
• Overnight at Rameshwaram.

Day 10 – Transfer from Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari :

• After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari.
• After reaching Kanyakumari you check in hotel and leisure.
• Overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 11 – Kanyakumari Sightseeing :

• After breakfast visit is to the Sri Kumari Amman Temple. Our next visit is to the Thiruvalluvar Statue; 133 feet in height. The 38 feet, three tier pedestal of the statue represents 38 chapters in the Book of Aram.
• We end our exploration with a visit to the miraculous confluence of the three seas; Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. The Vivekananda Memorial, located at the heart of this confluence is a pilgrimage for all the stressed hearts seeking for some respite and solace.
• After enjoying a pleasant boat ride around the place, we return to the hotel for night stay.
• Overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 12 – Departure | Its time to say Goodbye:

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive towards Kolkata.
• Our representative will escort you to your drop point and the trip will end here.

• Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests.
• The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
• CTIA Holidays reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
• Children above 8 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 8 years of age.
• All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, etc. are not a part of the package.
• Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal.
• Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
• Usage of the swimming pool is strictly according to government guidelines.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
• The display prices mentioned are for minimum 2 PAX for 2-star or 3-star properties.
