About Sikkim

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.

Details Tour Itinerary

Day – 01 : Welcome to Sikkim

  • Receive from NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check in Your Hotel.  Evening free to explore the beautiful city. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day – 02 : Tsomgo Lake , New Baba Mandir & Nathu La Pass excursion

  • After breakfast we proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Proceed further to Nathula Pass – Indo Chaina Border . ( Nathula Pass subjected to availability of Permit and extra payment directly payable to Drivers) Enjoy the evening at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.

  • VISIT TO NATHULA PASS (14450FT) NOT INCLUDED: The road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo Lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine flora. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire. Nathula is open for Indian nationals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.(Rs.6000 /-per Vehicle  Vehicle Extra to Visit Nathula Pass).(If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided).

  • Two passport size photo + 1 valid ID proof with address for eg. aadhar card, voter id, passport, driving license for each members above 5 years is required to create permit.***

Day – 03 : Gangtok to Lachung :

  • After Morning Breakfast Check out from hotel. and transfer to Lachung On the way Visit Butterfly or Seven Sister waterfalls [depending on road opened],  Naga waterfalls, Bhim nala waterfalls. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Lachung.
  • Two passport size photo + 1 valid ID proof with address for eg. aadhar card, voter id, passport, driving license for each members above 5 years is required to create permit.***

Day – 04 : View Yumthang- the Valley of Flowers :

  • After morning breakfast proceed for Yumthang  Excursion(11,800ft), it is  a paradise for nature lovers with a fascinating blend of flora and fauna and breathtaking scenic grandeur. During Spring the whole area becomes filled with flowers. It is called Switzerland of India. Back to Hotel. Overnight at Lachung.

Day – 05 : Lachung to Gangtok:

  • After morning breakfast at Hotel. Check out from proceed  to Gangtok. Check in Gangtok Hotel. Evening free to explore the beautiful city. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day – 06 : Gangtok – Namchi – Pelling

  • After Morning Breakfast Proceed to Pelling. On the way visit Namchi South Sikkim (Chardham),Ravangla (Buddha Park), Chardham. Reach Pelling by evening. Check in hotel.Overnight at Pelling.

Day – 07 : Pelling Sightseeing

  • After breakfast procced to pelling sighseeing  visit Khecheopalri Lake, Sky Walk, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse – The Ancient Kingdom of Sikkim, Rimbi waterfalls, After sightseeing back to hotel. Overnight at Pelling.

Day – 08 : Pelling to Darjeeling

  • After Morning Breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Darjeeling – which is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill Queen. (walking tour of Mall is suggested) Overnight Halt Darjeeling.

Day – 09 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  • Early morning visit to Tiger Hill to witness the Beautiful Sunrise. Experience the Mighty Kanchanjungha Mountain. also Visit Batasia Loop- War memorial & Ghoom Monastery. After sightseeing  Come back at Hotel  After Breakfast proceed for Mixed Points sightseeing including Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Rock Garden, HMI + Zoo(Thursday Close), Tenzing Rock, Tea garden. Evening free at the Mall & market. Overnight Darjeeling.

Day – 10 : Final Departure

  • After morning breakfast check out from hotel & free time until drop to Siliguri NJP/IXB. Trip End.
