ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CHINA VISA
• Indian National holding a valid Indian passport can apply for China Visa.
• Person wishes to travel to China for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through CTIA HOLIDAYS. Person who seeks employment in China is not eligible to apply through CTIA HOLIDAYS.
• Travel insurance is mandatory requirement for passengers traveling to China. CTIA HOLIDAYS also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TOURIST VISA
• Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel. The passport should also have a minimum of two blank visa pages.
• 1 Form to be TYPED only (hand written forms shall not be accepted).
• 2 Photo (recent color photograph with 80% face coverage.) detailed specifications provided in notes below
Note: Photo size: 48mm x 33mm, width of head: 15mm to 22mm, height of head: 20mm to 33mm.
• Detailed Original Covering Letter addressing Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai (In case pax wants to write the complete Consulate address, pls take it from above) on Company Letterhead (If pax is working else on Business Letterhead) mentioning the name and the passport number of the applicant and also the places which will be visited by the applicant in China. If applicant revisiting China then pax to specify the reason for 2nd time travel on Tourism grounds.
• Return Confirmed Ticket with Airline Stamp.
• PPT copy of front page and last page.
• Personal Original Bank Statement (for last 6 months) with minimum balance of Rs.1, 60,000.00 with Bank Seal and authorised signatures.
• Hotel Confirmation.
• Day to Day itinerary
FOR BUSINESS VISA
• ORIGINAL Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel, if applying for 06 MONTHS MULTIPLE ENTRY visa then passport validity to be 12 months , if applying for 1 YEAR MULTIPLE ENTRY then passport to valid for more than 18 months , The passport should also have a minimum of two blank visa pages.
• 1 Form to be TYPED only (hand written forms shall not be accepted), also mentioning in Part Number 5,
• 2 Photo (recent color photograph with 80% face coverage.) detailed specifications provided in notes below
• Detailed Covering letter addressing Consulate General of the Peoples Republic of China, Mumbai (In case pax wants to write the complete Consulate address, pls take it from above) on company letterhead with entry and exit date, pax name and passport number etc.
• If the Applicant is working for a Foreign based company and operates from home. He needs to submit a covering letter from the Foreign based company as well as a Typed Personal Covering letter (letter from the out based company could be scanned.) .
• ORIGINAL INVITATION from Chinese Company / Invitee addressing Consulate General of the Peoples Republic of China, Mumbai OR direct fax from China to the invited having fax number of Chinese company fairly visible. The invitation should also mention the name and passport number of the applicant, with signature of Authorized signatory and Company Seal.
• Ticket Itinerary.
• Passport copy of front page and last page.
• Applicants who wants to apply for a multiple entry visa must have an Original Invitation letter of Duly Authorized Unit (From The Chinese Government) OR Confirmation Letter of invitation (From The Chinese Government) along with company invitation and A Previous travel Chinese visa (Final decision will be taken by the Consulate regarding visa approval and number of Entries.) .
• Valid Indian status (Indian visa) copy and original in case of foreign nationals
• Please Note: If you are applying your visa from Mumbai and your passport is not issued from Maharashtra and Karnataka then you have to submit any one stay proofs of your residence in Maharashtra / Karnataka as per the below mentioned list:
a) Lease & License Agreement
b) Address proof in the Companies letter head (Original)
c) MTNL, BSNL bill of last month
d) Marriage Certificate
PROCESSING TIME
• Normal – 5 working days.
• Urgent – 3 working days.
• Urgent visas submited on the following day as entry into VFS before 10AM.
