Golden Triangle Details Tour Itinerary

Day 01 – Chandigarh to Amritsar Transfer :

• Meet our driver at Chandigarhi airport and drive to Amritsar.
• Check into the hotel. After freshening up at evening around 3 PM drive to Wagah Border to see the Closing Ceremony, event starts exactly by 5.30 PM everyday.
• Border closing ‘lowering of the flags’ ceremony is a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan.
• This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999.
• The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations flags, it is called the beating retreat border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman (Jawan) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gate at the border is opened and the flags are lowered.
• The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side.
• Return back to Hotel.
• Overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 02 – Amritsar Sightseeing :

• Morning after Breakfast Visit Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahib,Durgiana Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Partition Museum, Jalliawala Bagh and if time permits you can go for the local market to shop around.
• Overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 03 – Transfer from Amritsar to Chandigarh:

• After breakfast depart to Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh and drive towards the hotel.
• Start your city tour with Rock Garden which is made of industrial and urban waste.
• Then visit Sukhna Lake that lies in the foothills of Shivalik range. People visit here for the picnic and for the water activities.
• In the evening enjoy shopping at sector 17 market. Back to hotel.
• Overnight stay at Chandigarh.

Day 04 – Chandigarh Sightseeing:

• Morning after breakfast, visit Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, Government Museum and Art Gallery, Open Hand Monument, International Dolls Museum, M.C. Zoological Park.
• In the evening rest of the time at your leisure.
• Overnight stay at Chandigarh.

Day 05 – Departure | Its time to say Goodbye:

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drop to Chandigarh airport.
• Our representative will escort you to your drop point and the trip will end here.

• Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests.
• The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
• CTIA Holidays reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
• Children above 8 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 8 years of age.
• All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, etc. are not a part of the package.
• Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal.
• Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
• Usage of the swimming pool is strictly according to government guidelines.
• Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
• The display prices mentioned are for minimum 2 PAX for 2-star or 3-star properties.
