Day – 01 : Welcome to Bhutan :
- Receive from Bagdogara Airport and transfer to Phuentsholling.Check in Hotel. Evening have a look of the Phuentsholling city, free movement. Overnight stay at Phuentsholling.
Day – 02 : Phuntsholling – Thimphu :
After Morning breakfast. Complete Bhutan immigration formalities. And proceed to Thimpu-the Capital city of Bhutan. Short Tea Break at Gedu Indian Army Canteen. Check in at Thimpu Hotel. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day – 03 : Thimphu Sightseeing :
Morning breakfast at hotel. to visit National Memorial Chorten, Royal Palace, Bhutan Parliament, Buddha Point, Local Market, Archery Ground, BBS Tower. Evening a stroll in & around The Clock Tower. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day – 04 : Thimphu – Punakha :
Morning breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel & Transfer to Punakha -The winter Capital of Bhutan . On the way visit Do Chu La Pass from where you can get spectecular views of Mount Jumolhari. Proceed towards Punakha . Check in Hotel . After lunch visit Punakha Tzong & Suspension Bridge. Evening free & easy . Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day – 05 : Punakha Sightseeing :
After breakfast proceed to Phobjikha Valley Day Tour . After Sightseeing Back to Punakha. evening Free time. Overnight stay at Punakha.

5.IS ALTITUDE SICKNESS COMMON?
Yes, altitude sickness is common in Bhutan and can affect any traveler, regardless of age, strength, or fitness level. Symptoms include dehydration, fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, edema and insomnia. To alleviate the chances of altitude sickness, we recommend limiting alcohol, staying hydrated and planning for rest days in the higher elevations.
6.DO BHUTANESE SPEAK ENGLISH?
English is commonly spoken, as it is the medium of instruction in schools. The national and official language of Bhutan is Dzongkha, a Tibetan dialect spoken mainly by Ngalop in the northern and western parts of the country. Road signs and government documents are written in English and Dzongkha, and the national newspaper is printed in English, Nepali and Dzongkha. In the villages, different ethnic groups speak their own language.

To Go Beyond These Two Cities, You Need A ‘Special Area Permit’ From The Immigration Office In Thimphu. Do Carry A Photo Id And A Photocopy Of Your Passport Along With Two Latest Photos.
- Ngultrum (Nu, BTN) Is The Official Currency Of Bhutan. 1 Ngultrum Is Equal To 1 Indian Rupee.
- Small Denomination Indian Currency, Below 500 INR, Is Also Accepted As Legal Tender In Bhutan. It Is Recommended To Use The Local Currency, Ngultrum, For Any Transactions Above BTN 500.
- The ‘Entry Permit’ Obtained At The Border Is Valid For 7 Days. If You Wish To Extend Your Stay Beyond 7 Days, You Must Get It Extended At The Immigration Office In Thimphu.
- Alcohol Consumption Is Allowed In Bhutan. You Will Find Local And Well As Imported Alcohol In Shops And Restaurants Around Bhutan.
- Citizens Of India, Maldives And Bangladesh Do Not Need A Visa To Visit Bhutan. All You Need Is An Entry Permit That Is Easily Available At Border Crossings. For The Rest, Their Visa Is Processed Online By A Licensed Bhutanese Tour Operator Before Arriving In The Country.
- Around 5 To 7 Days Are Enough To Explore Bhutan. If You Want More Days To Just Relax And Disconnect, You Can Simply Extend Your Stay.
- Dzongkha Is The National Language Of Bhutan. Overall, There Are Around Two Dozen Languages Spoken In Bhutan, Which Also Includes Nepali
