About Sikkim
Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.
Details Tour Itinerary
Day – 01 : Welcome to Sikkim
- Receive from NJP Station or Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check in Your Hotel. Evening free to explore the beautiful city. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day – 02 : Gangtok to Lachung :
- After Morning Breakfast Check out from hotel. and transfer to Lachung On the way Visit Butterfly or Seven Sister waterfalls [depending on road opened], Naga waterfalls, Bhim nala waterfalls. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Lachung.
- Two passport size photo + 1 valid ID proof with address for eg. aadhar card, voter id, passport, driving license for each members above 5 years is required to create permit.***
Day – 03 : View Yumthang- the Valley of Flowers :
- After morning breakfast Check out from Hotel proceed for Yumthang Excursion(11,800ft), it is a paradise for nature lovers with a fascinating blend of flora and fauna and breathtaking scenic grandeur. During Spring the whole area becomes filled with flowers. It is called Switzerland of India. After Sightseeing Transfer to Gangtok. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day – 04 : Tsomgo Lake , New Baba Mandir & Nathu La Pass excursion
- After breakfast we proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Proceed further to Nathula Pass – Indo Chaina Border . ( Nathula Pass subjected to availability of Permit and extra payment directly payable to Drivers) Enjoy the evening at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.
VISIT TO NATHULA PASS (14450FT) NOT INCLUDED: The road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo Lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine flora. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire. Nathula is open for Indian nationals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.(Rs.6000 /-per Vehicle Vehicle Extra to Visit Nathula Pass).(If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided).

- There Can Be Situation Where We Won’t Be Able To Provide You With Permit For Nathula Pass In That Case You Don’t Have To Pay Extra For Nathula Pass – You Can Still Visit Changu Lake & Baba Mandir.
- Nathula Pass Remains Closed On Monday & Tuesday But Changu Lake & Baba Mandir Remains Opens.
- If We Created The Permit And Due To Any Issue Nathula Pass Remains Closed Then You Have To Pay Extra For Nathula Pass.
- If You Have Any Relatives In Army, You Can Contact Them And Get Permit. In Such Case We Won’t Charge You Extra For Nathula Pass. You Just Need To Pay Rs. 500 For Vehicle.
- Nathula Permit Is Created One Day Before Of Tour Start Date. Hence You Need To Send Us Scan Copy Of Photo And Id Two Days Before Of Nathula Tour Date.
- Due To Heavy Traffic Of Tourist For Nathula Pass And Very Few Quota For Nathula, There Is Only 60% Chance We Can Provide You With Nathula Permit. Hence We Can’t Confirm For Nathula Now.
- In Case Of Land Slide Or Any Other Reason Tsongo Lake Is Closed We Will Provided Alternate Sightseeing.
