About Punjab

Punjab, a state bordering Pakistan, is the heart of India’s Sikh community. The city of Amritsar, founded in the 1570s by Sikh Guru Ram Das, is the site of Harmandir Sahib, the holiest gurdwara (Sikh place of worship). Known in English as the Golden Temple, and surrounded by the Pool of Nectar, it’s a major pilgrimage site. Also in Amritsar is Durgiana Temple, a Hindu shrine famed for its engraved silver doors.

Day – 01 : Welcome to Punjab

  • Receive From Amritsar Airport and proceed to hotel. Later in the evening visit Gobindgarh Fort, explore history of this military fort through a light and sound show. Overnight Amritsar.

Day – 02 : Amritsar Sightseeing

  • Morning proceed to Golden Temple, the most sacred pilgrim of Sikhism. Pay homage to the people who lost their lives during the infamous Jallianwala Bagh massacre under British Raj. Also visit Partition Museum called as a People’s Museum to remember all those millions who lost their homes or loved ones at the time of partition. After  Sightseeing Back to Hotel Evening free for shopping and explore variety of local food on your own Overnight Amritsar.

Day – 03 : Amritsar Sightseeing

  • Morning proceed to Sadda Pind, which offers a peep into the rural Punjab, where you can enjoy the Punjabi style art of living along with scrumptious food. Later proceed to Attari Wagah Border to enjoy the flag ceremony, which is a daily military practice of Security forces of India. Overnight Amritsar.

Day – 04 : Final Departure

  • After Morning Breakfast Check out from Hotel Until Drop to Amritsar Airport. Trip End.
