Skiing - Gulmarg

Make your winter holidays cherish-able with partaking in this Skiing adventure in Gulmarg, an astounding place in the paradise of Earth, Kashmir. The five day tour is marked with Skiing classes and sightseeing places; you will be introduced to the different level of Skiing through the five feet deep snow covered Alpine meadows. There will be classes for beginners as well as novices and the experts can spend as much time as they want. Also, indulge in some sightseeing experience while you travel from Gulmarg to Afarwat via a cable car particularly known as Gondola. The Gulmarg Skiing Package includes food, accommodation and transportation from Srinagar Airport to the resort and return.

Day 01 – Arrival at Srinagar :

  • Arrive at Srinagar Airport around 01:00 PM and get picked up and transferred to the hotel in Gulmarg.
  • It will take 2 hours to reach Gulmarg Ski Resort.
  • Pass through the farmlands, villages and snow capped peaks on your way.
  • Until you reach the foothills of Afarwat Mountains, the road is flat and plain but the last 30 minutes from the foothill it is an ascend to Gulmarg.
  • From there, you will be transferred to the resort in Gulmarg.
  • After freshening up, enjoy some time getting familiarised with the climate and roam around the snow covered location.

Day 02 – Skiing :

  • Today, you will meet your instructors to teach you the lessons of skiing.
  • Firstly, get the Ski equipment and listen to the introductory session.
  • Then head to see the demonstration and indulge in some practice sessions to know downhill movement, sidestepping, snow plough techniques etc.

Day 03 – Skiing Lessons :

  • Advanced lessons will be taught today.
  • Spend more time in knowing snow plough, short Ski runs and parallel Ski runs.
  • Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 04 – Skiing :

  • Indulge in practice sessions in the morning.
  • Practise the parallel Ski runs and in the afternoon, visit Phase 2 of Afarwat via Gondola, the cable car and revel in some beautiful sights.

Day 05 – Departure :

  • Post breakfast around 08:00 AM, get dropped off at Srinagar Airport.
